“LONDON LIFE.”
On Tuesday night next the Taylor-Carrington Co. produce at the Public Hall, Foxton, the new sensational and emotional drama “ London Life,” of which Mr Taylor has purchased the sole right of production in New Zealand and Australia from the author. This drama, in point of merit, ranks very high among those dealing with the lives of tlio who live in the mighty city, and Mr Taylor and Miss Carrington are to be congratulated on the valuable addition to their repertoire. Some typical scenes have been specially painted for this production by Mr W. Matthews, the talented Australian artist, the most noteworthy of which are the Foundling Hospital, London Bridge, a London street, etc. The cast is very large and reveals the popular members of the Taylor-Carrington Co. in some entirely new characterisations. Mr Taylor appears as a Cockney and Miss Carrington as Marian Eldred. The popular admission and family concession will be adhered to.
