OBITUARY.

William Merlyn Spring—aged 1 year and 18 months. Grihl death has made his presence felt in Foxton during the past week or so, and several homes have been bereft of loved ones, and sorrow has hung heavy upon many hearts. Another death occurred yesterday morning when the bright two-year-old son of Mr and Mrs Gus Spring passed over to 1 ‘ that bourne from which no traveller returns.” The little fellow has been suffering during the past three weeks from brain fever. Dr Mandl, who has been unremitting in his attention, did everything that medical skill could devise and a consultation was recently held but the little fellow slipped away. Great sympathy is expressed for the bereaved parents. The funeral will leave the parents residence for the Foxton cemetery at 3 p.m. to-morrow (Sunday).
