Armit, 51 Lambton Quay, Wellington, on October 25th, at 10 p.m. for events 1,4, 5,7, 8, 9,10,11,12, and 18. Handicaps will appear on or about November 2nd, Acceptances close on ground, 80 minutes before advertised time of starting each event. RULES AND REGULATIONS. Cycling events run under League of New Zealand Wheelman’s Rules. Other events run under rules of N-Z. Athletic Union. No nomination will be accepted on any account without proper entrance fees, and a statement of all public performances for past two years (matches included); if not any, the last five performances to bo given. All competitors must be on their marks at the appointed time for each event, and anyone not answering to the starter’s call may be disqualified. Three competitors to start or no Ist prize; four, or no second; five, or no third. The Committee may require any com- | petitor to prove his identity further than by declaration, should they think fit to do so, and will reserve the right to strike but any event should there not be sufficient entries to satisfy them. j Competitors leaving their mark before the pistol is fired will be put back one 1 yard for each offence, and anyone not 1 going back when required may be dis- 1 qualified.
