Auclkand, October 5. A young man named Brenau, a store-keeper in the employ of the Harbour Board, was assaulted and robbed on Constitution Hill at 1.30 : o’clock this morning. When pro- j ceeding home from the Customs 1 shed he was sprung upon by two men, who knocked him down, held him on the ground, and rifled his pockets, taking among other things the keys of the Customs shed.
