Nominations accompanied by 2s on each event close with the secretary, Foxton, and Mr B. W. Armit, 51 Lambton Quay, Wellington, on October 25th, at 10 p.m. for events 1,4, 5,7, 8, 9,10, 11, 12, and 13. Handicaps will appear on or about November 2nd. Acceptances close on ground, 30 minutes before advertised time of starting each event. BULES AND BEGULATIONS. Cycling events run under League of New Zealand Wheelman's Bules. Other events run under rules of N.Z. Athletic Union. No nomination will be accepted on any account without proper entrance fees, and a statement of all public performances for past two years (matches included); if not any, the last five performances to be given. All competitors must be on their marks at the appointed time for each vent, and anyone not answering to the barter's call may be disqualified. Three competitors to start or r,o Ist >rize; four, or no second; five, or no jhird. The Committee may require any comtetitor to prove his identity further than y declaration, should they think fit to .0 so, and will reserve the right to .trike out any event should there not )e sufficient entries to satisfy them. Competitors leaving their mark before ho pistol is fired will be put back one j ard for each offence, and anyone not I oing back when required may be die- I ualified.
