PRESENTATION.
To Mr Gillies. Pai.me:eston, Sept. 19. Mr John Jarvie Gillies, who was charged with causing an explosion at the Bunnythorpe Dried Milk Factory, and was liberated on the Grand Jury finding “no bill ” at the Palmerston sessions, was entertained at a social attended by three hundred people, at Bunnythorpe to-night, and presented with a purse of forty sovereigns.
