Sutherland & Rough. Messrs Sutherland and Rough notify in this issue that they have commenced business in Foxton as house, land, and general commission agents, accountants, etc. The firm has been appointed local agents for certain well - known piano, sewing macine, bicycle and typewriting companies. They will also buy and sell on commission, and we understand as soon premises are available will conduct periodical auction sales. Mr K. G. Sutherland is wellthroughout ihe district and for the past two years has been connected with the Manawatu' Herald. He is possessed of the energy and enterprise so necessary in a business of the nature he is entering upon, and backed with the assistance of Mr Rough, who has had a good commercial experience, the firm should make good headway in this progressive district. TheJHERALD wishes the new firm a long and prosperous career.
