Armit, 51 Lambton Quay, Wellington, on October 25th, ht 10 p.m. for events 1,4, 6,7, 8, 9,10,,11, 82, and 13. Handicaps will appear on or about November 2nd. Acceptances close on ground, 30 minutes before advertised time of starting each event. EULES AND REGULATIONS. Cycling events run under League of New Zealand Wheelman’s Rules. Other events run under ru|ps of N.Z. Athletic Union. No'nomination will be accepted on any account without proper entrance fees, and a statement of all public performances for past two years (matches included); it not any, the last five performances to be given. All competitors must be on their ' marks at the appointed time for each event, and anyone not answering to the starter’s call may be disqualified. ’ l Three competitors to start or no Ist ' prize ; four, or no second; five, or no • third. . The Committee may require any competitor to prove his identity further than , by'declaration, should they think fit to ,db : so, and will reserve the right to ; strike out any event should there not b.e.aufficient entries to satisfy them. Competitors leaving their mark before the pistol is fired will be put back one yard for each offence, and anyone not going back when required maybe dis.
