Moutoa Notes.

A meeting of the Moutoa Cricket Club was held in the schoolroom, Mr W. Bowe being voted to the chair. The balance sheet was read by the secretary and showed a deficit of ios fid, which was cleared by a donation. For the ensuing year the following officers were elected : —Patron, Mr J. Stevens, M.H.R. ; President, Mr W. Walden ; Vice-Presidents, Messrs T. Bowe and W. Carter ; Captain, Mr J. Bowe; Vice-Captain, Mr G. Mohckey; Secretary, Mr J. E. Marshall; Delegates to the Association, Messrs J. Bowe, W. Smith, and J. E. Marshall. It was decided that the subscription should be ss, as last year, and that the schoolboys be admitted to the club free. It was left in the hands of the secretary to arrange for a scratch match with the Debaters, to take place at Moutoa on the Club’s opening day. Votes of thanks to the secretary for past services, and to the chairman concluded a very successful meeting.
