Manawatu Rowing Club.

A well-attended meeting of the members of the Manawatu Rowing Club was held in Mr Hill's rooms last evening. Mr B. G. Govver (captain) presided. After some discussion, it was unam mously decided to hold a ball on Sept 19th. Thejfollowing gentlemen were elected a committee: Messrs Gower, W. Edwards, Marsh, Gardner, Hill, A. W. Bradley, A. E. Shadbolt, A.*lmrie, with power to add to their number. It was decided that the charge be gentlemen ss. The ladies kindly consented to provide supper, and Mr Hill was deputed to confer with them re arrangements.
