Manawatu Rowing Club.

It is a matter for congratulation to note that interest imthe'Rowing Club has not died 'out yet. A proposal has been made to hold a dance at .an early date, a- large number of ladies having enthusiastically volunteered to assist the club in its efforts in that direction. Members of the club are requested to meet in Mr Hill’s rooms to-morrow evening for the purpose of forming a dance committee. Every member is specially requested to attend. We are pleased to see that an attempt is being made, to arouse public interest in this very, desirable institution, and look forward to the time when the club will regain its prestine glory. .
