Meyrick (cornet) supplied the music, which was voted perfect, while the extras supplied were capitally rendered by Misses Haywood and May Laing (piano), and Mr Bert. Shadbolt (piano) and McLean and Cowman (violins). Messrs O. E. Austin and O. Robinson acted in an efficient manner as Mbs C. The thanks of tlie Sub-Union are due to Mr and Mrs Haywood for use of sample-rooms and paddock, also to Messrs A. Shadholt, M. Walker, P. Hennessy, C. Gray and Nash and Co. for use of flags, etc.
