No appearance of debtor, or cause of absence shown. Ordered to pay the amount forthwith, in default three days’ imprisonment. Several cases were either adjourned, settled out of Court, paid into Court, and confessed. POIJCK CASKS, Police v. T. Mitchell and J. Winter. Being prohibited persons did procure liquor from some person, were convicted and fined 5s and costs 7s each. For being concerned in the pranks of a tin-kettling party and damaging property, J. Young (who did not appear) was convicted and fined ss, costs 7s, and damages 2s 6d. Five others — H. Osborne, D. Imrie, J. Jillett, C. Wanklyn, and W. Ashmore I were each fined ss, costs ss, and damages 2s 6d. For permitting stock to wander, the following fines were inflicted : —B, Spelman, J. Haack, W. Robinson (two charges), and J. Walls fined 5s each, and costs 7s ; S. Feek, fined 2s, costs 7s; A. Reeve, E. Wanklyn and B. Withers fined 7s 6d each, and costs 7s; FI. Whillew fined 2s 6d, and costs 7s.
