A Bank Smash.
* OFFICIALS MISSING. DISTURBANCE BY DEPOSITORS. New York, August 7, The Milwaukee Avenue State Bank, a Chicago institution, has closed owing to shortages amounting to one million dollars, chiefly the result of speculation in real estate and commercial ventures. Several officials of the bank are missing. There was a great run on the bank, resulting in a disturbance which had to be quelled by the police.
