It is said Mr Jim Lewis, who was for some time engine-driver at Hickson and Reeves’ town mill, had a slice of good fortune last week. Reported that he was one of those who picked the double at Wellington, Rongoa-Narcotic, and received £249 odd for his pound investment. Rather an awkward return, eh ?
