The Flood.
A HEAVY ONE EXPECTED. The Postmaster at Foxton has received advice, that the river at Woodville is 'running, bank to bank and still rising ; also that the Oroua river is higher than for some time. Millers in the Foxton district are preparing for a flood, while the Shannon coach could not get through with the mail at mid-day. This mail arrived by the 1.30 train from Palmerston this afternoon.
