An important meeting of the Foxton Sub-Union will be held at Laing’s Hotel on Thursday night next. Business includes consideration of the Thompson case, and rep.* matches. Mr Hankins, on behalf of the Wanderer Club (Horowhenua) will attend, re his Club affiliating with Foxton, they having left the jurisdiction of the Horowhenua Union.

In all'probability, Manawatu and Foxton reps, will meet on Saturday week, at Foxton if possible ; while Foxton may play Horowhenua, at Levin, the following Saturday, July 14th.
