That the Foxton Borough Council do now make a Special Order to strike a Special Rate of one and half-pence in the £ on the annual value of all the rateable properties in the Borough of Foxton to provide interest and other charges on a loan of /rooo, borrowed under ‘ ‘ The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1901, and Amendments,” to erect Council Chambers and Public Library. The said rate to be and annually recurring one for the period of 20 years, beginning on the Ist of April, 1907, and terminating on the 31 st of March, 1928, or until the loan shall be paid off. To be due and payable on the Ist July in each and every year during the currency of the said loan at the Borough Council Office, Foxton. That a special meeting ot the Foxton Borough Council he held on Friday, the 15th June, to confirm this special order. ALF. FRASER, Town Clerk.
