SHOCKING DETAILS.

American is appalled the Chicago Meat Works revelations. The Beef Trust is panicstricken.
British, German and Japanese orders are already decreasing. Mr Upton Sinclair (whose book “The Jungle” initiated the revelations) declares that two men fell into the lard-rendering vats and were converted and sold as lard. f Unborn calves are largely utilised in potted meats. Decomposed chickens were frozen, deodorised, and tinned. Mr Sinclair challenges an action for libel.
