My appetite was poor, and the. little food I was able to eat fcaused a lot of pan;, fiistress ana stomach disturbance, which usually ended in retching or vomiting. At nights I was unable to sleep well, and in the mornings I uad a txnckly coated tongue and a disagreeable taste in the mouth, feeling more weary and worn out than when I went to bed. I tried many medicines, but without benefit. OLcourse I grew weaker and thinner, was quite disheartened, and very ill, when a friend —a Mrs. McAVliiunic tnree years back told me of Mother Scigel’s Syrup. She said it had done her a world of good, and she kindly gave me a few doses from her own bottle. I felt a little better after it, and so I began to take it regularly. I was soon able to sleep well, to eat heartily, and digest my food.
