Patience is a virtue but holiday trips at rny expense are no jokes. A meeting of the Awahou Football Club was held last Saturday evening at Gray’s Post Office Hotel, and was well attended. The secretary reported having everything in connection with the Ball well In hand. Messrs E. Wanklya ard J. Jillett were appointed to make arrangements re refreshments. The matter of music, piano, decoration, and presentation were left in the hands of the secretary. Messrs Wanklyn and D. Meder were appointed with Captain of club as selectors of teams during the year 1906, The secretary mentioned his intention of resigning from his position after the Ball had been carried out. A hsarty vote of thanks to the chair and to Mr Gray for use of the room concluded the meeting.
