Sydney, March 17. Applications for the space allotted to New South Wales at the- Christchurch Exhibition art coming-in well. It is expected th resources of the State will be represented. Brisbane, March 17. An application was made to the Chief Justice by Mrs Willis for _ probate of a will under which she 1$ appointed trustee for her son in the matter of 20,000 acres of land at Cunnamulla. The Chie Justice said the circumstances o' the case were peculiar. Mr? Willis is the wife of N. Willis, Concerned in land transactions in New South Wales, and already
holds three blocks of twenty thou-
sand acres, adjoining the one she seeks to control under the will. The Acts limits the holding of grazing lands to sixty thousand acres. The witnesses to the will are Hoskings and McNair, whose names are also well known. The Chief Justice. held the circumstances were so suspicious that he must adjourn the application for further investigation.
