Agony After Eating.
HOW A SYDNEY MAN’S SUFFER. INGS FEOM INDIGESTION WERE CURED BY MOTHER SEIGEL’S SYRUP.
For many years it was thought that indigestion --most common of diseases and parent of scorns of other ailments—was due to sedentery habits ; in other words, that it was caused by want 01 exercise. It is 1101 V knoftn that while close confinement is only one of many contributory causes,lt plays an important part in setting up that almost universal complaint which only Mother Seigel’s Syrup can throw down. Belgian doctors have found cases of indigestion among the savage tribes of the Congo Free Slate, while it has been scientifically proved that horses, Cattle and dogs are also subject to it ] so we must not regard Mr J. Robins’ business alone a« the cause of the complaint from which he suffered.
Mr J. Robins is a tailor, and carries on his business in 105, Abercrombie Street, Blackfrrirs Estate, Sydney, N.S.W> On May Ist, ifiOo, Mr Robins Sent a letter to the proprietors of Mother Seigel’s Curative Syrup, .relating some details of an illness from which that world-renowned medicine baa rescued him. From 1881) to 1904 I suffered chronically from severe indigestion, wh : cb made life a burden to me. Often the agony that I endured after eating was so acute that I looked forward to meal times with dread. I was extremely careful m the matter of diet; but even so, the sitrnleet end plainest articles of food would seldom agree with me, and unset my stomach completely. “ My whole constitution, periodically affected by the strain upon it, was weakened. I could not assimilate sufficient nouri-hment to maintain my normal strength, and so always felt 1 out-of-a orts ’ and ‘ run down,’

I had no doubt but that organ was seriously affected, and feared death from heart failure. They all failed not only to cure me but even to confer any temporary I’elief.
