The newspapers are publishing reports alleging that the_ Marquis of Townshend, who in 1905 married Miss Sutherst, is hemg wrongfully detained in his own house as a lunatic, at his wife’s instance.
The “ Daily Chronicle” states that the Marquis is content under his wife’s care. She says her object is to prevent her hysterical husband falling under the influence of objectionable companions.
