Wedding Bells.
HANCOCK—HOGG.
At All Saints Church, Foxton? yesterday afternoon, a quiet but pretty wedding took place, the contracting parties being Miss Hogg, (fifth daughter of Mrs E. A. Hogg, of Nelson, and sister of Mrs T. Nye of this town) and Mr Allen Hancock, Chemist, of Wellington. The Rev. H. Wilson conducted the ceremonies. Mr Ed. Osborne, of Palmerston North, acted as best man, while Miss Violet Nye, neice of the bride, attended as bridesmaid. The bride, who was given away by Mr T. Nye, was dressed in handsome., white silk,, trimmed with lace, wearing the usual veil and orange blossoms, and carrying a beautiful shower bouquet.
The bridesmaid looked pleasing in cream serge, with a scarlet hat and bouquet of the same colour. After the ceremony, the party adjourned to Sunnyside, where the wedding breakfast was served. The usual appropriate toasts were honoured, after which numerous friends were entertained. The happy couple left by train this morning for a . trip up the Wanganui river, where the honeymoon is to be spent.
