Unhappy RussiaSt. Petersburg* Jan. 23. “Red Sunday ” anniversary was quiet throughout Russia owing to the display of military force. The Governor of St. Petersburg declared he would quell any demonatration without mfircy and fire without warning. The Congress bf Marshals and Nobility at Moscow appointed a deputation to urge the Czar to accelerate the date of the Douma’s meeting and postponed all agrarian legislation until then. Since the beginning of December the police have discovered in the chief Russian cities eight laboratories and bomb factories, 258 unfilled bombs, large quantities of powder, dynamite and cartridges, three English machine guns, and other arms.
