Penalties.—Flat Races—The winner of any fiat race after the declaration of weights to carry a. penalty of lolhs, and of every additional race a further penalty of ylbs. Horses handicapped at Bst lolb or over to carry half the above penalties. Hurdle Races—The winner of any hurdle race afler the declaration of weights to carry a penalty of tolbs in the hurdle race, and of every additional race a further penalty of ylbs. Definition of a Hack. —A Hack means a horse that has not at time of entry won a race of the value of 80 sovs, or races of the collective value of 200 sovs, and is not nominated in any open race at the meeting. No horse will be allowed to start whose fees are unpaid. Entries by telegram must Jba confirmed in writing at the earliest possible opportunity. No betting allowed on the course except through the medium ef the Totalisator. The Stewards reserve the right to alter the date or time for receiving nominations and acceptances as they may deem fit.
