Penalties.—Flat Races—The winner of any fiat race after the declaration of weights to carry a penalty of lolbs, .and of every additional race a further penally of ylbs. Horses handicapped at Sat xolb or over to carry half the above penalties. Hurdle Races—The winner of any hurdle race after the declaration of weights to carry a penalty of rolbs in the hurdle race, and ot every additional race a t further penalty of ylbs. Definition of a Hack. —A _ Hack means a horse that has not at time of entry won a race of the valae of 80 sovs, or races of the collective value of 200 sovs, and is not nominated in any open race at the meeting. No horse will be allowed to start whose fees are unpaid. Entries by telegram must be confirmed in writing at the earliest possible opportunity. No betting allowed on the coarse except through the medium of the Totalisator. The Stewards reserve the right to alter the date or" time for receiving nominations and acceptances as they may deem fit. Races 3,6, 8 are open to all Horses. The rest are for Hacks Only.
