Rules and Regulatiw 3 ' Penalties. —Flat Races —The winner of any flat race after the declaration of weights to carry a penalty of rolbs, and of every additional race afurther penalty of ylbs. Horses handicapped at Bst xolb or oVer to Carry half the above penalties. Hurdle Races—The winner ®f any hurdle race after the declaration of weights to ! carry a penalty of tolbs in the hurdle race, and ot every additional race a further penalty of ylbs. i Definition of a Hack.—A Hack I means a horse that has not at time of entry won a race of the value of 80 sovSj or races of the collective value of 200 sovs, and is not nominated in any open race at the meeting. No horse will he allowed to start whose fees are unpaid. Entries by telegram must be confirmed in writing at the earliest possible opportunity. No betting allowed on the course except through the medium of the Totalisator. The Stewards reserve the right to alter the date or time for receiving nominations and acceptances as they may deem fit.
