Weights for Second Day’s Races Will be declared bo Mondays January 22nd, 1906, at about 8 pm. Acceptances close same evening at 9.30, Rules and Regulations. Penalties. —Flat Races —The winner of any flat race after the declaration of weights to carry a penalty of tolbs and of every additional race a further penally of ylbs. Horses handicapped at Bst xolb or over to carry half the above penalties. Hurdle R nces —The winner of any hurdle race after the declaration of weights to carry a penalty of rolbs in the hurdle race* and ot every additional race ft further penalty of ylbs. Definition of a Hack. —A Hack means a horse that has not at time of entry won a race of the value of 80 sovs, or races of the collective value ©f 200 sovs, and is not nominated in any open race at the meeting. No horse will be allowed to start whose fees are unpaid. Entries by telegram must be confirmed ia writing at the earliest possible opportunity. No betting allowed on the course except through the medium ®f the Totalisator. The Stewards reserve the right to alter the date or time for receiving nominations and acceptances as they may deem fit.
