Penalties. —Flat Races —The winner of any flat race after the declaration of weights to carry a penalty of xolbs, and of every additional race a further penalty of ylbs. Horses handicapped at Bst lolb or over to cany half the above penalties. Hurdle Races— The winner of any hurdle race after the declaration of weights to carry a penalty of rolbs in the hurdle race, and ot every additional race a further penalty of ylbs. „ Definition of a Hack.—A Hack means a horse that has not at time of entry won a race of the value of 80 sovs, or races of the collective value of 200 sovs, and is not nominated in any open race at the meeting. No horse will be allowed to start whose fees are unpaid. Entries by telegram must bo eonfirmed in writing at the earliest possible opportunity. No betting allowed on the course except through the medium of the Totalisatojr. .
