Weights for Second Day’s Races will be declared on Monday. Janaary 22nd, 1906, at about 8 pm. Acceptances close same evening at g. 30. Rules and Regulations. Penalties.— Flat Races— The winner of anv flat race after the declaration of weights to carry a penalty of tolbs. and of ever; additional race a further penalty of 7lbs. Horses handicapped at Sst roll) or over to carry half' the above penalties. Hurdle Races—The winner of any hurdle race after the declaration of weights to carry a penalty of xolbs in the hurdle race, and ol ever}' additional race A further penalty of ylbs. Definition of a Hack, —A Hack means a horse (hat has not at time of entry won a race of the value of 80 sovs, or races of the collective value of 200 sovs, and is not nominated in any open race at the meeting. No horse will he allowed to start whose fees are unpaid. Entries by telegram must be confirmed in writing at the earliest possible opportunity. No betting allowed on the course except through the medium of the Totalisatcjr. The Stewards reserve the right to alter the date or time for receiving nominations and acceptances as they may deem fit. Races 3,6, 8 are open to all Horses. The rest are for Hacks Only.
