Messrs Devin and Co,, Ltd., report; We offered to-day 1,000 skins, 550 hides and a quantity of horse hair and tallow. There was a fair competition for everything offered in prices ruling at recent sales.
Skins : Prices ruled on a basis of last sale. There is good competition for green and dry pelts, prices going up to cs 6d. each. We quote: Memos, S'/idtogd; Fine Crossbreds, 8 '.jl'd to gd ; Coarse, 8 >qd toßkid; Dead skins, to 7kid ; Short wools, 6 kjd to 7 l / 2 d ; Pelts Green, 2s to as 6d each ; Butchers (Ireen, 7s 6d to 8s rod each. Tallow: Cas.<s 20s; tins 17s 6d ; rough fat 14s. Hides: The market was strong.
