Weights for Second Day's Races will be declared on Monday, January i2nd, 1906, at about 8 p.m, Acceptances close same evening at 9.30. Rules and Regulations* Penalties,—Flat Races —The Win* ner of any flat race after the declaration of weights to a penalty of rolbs, and of every additional race a further penally of ylbSi Horses handicapped at Bst iblb of over to baity half the above penalties* nflrdlfi Races —The winner of any hurdle tilce after the declaration of weights to carry a penalty of lolbs in the hurdle race, and ot every additional race a further penalty of ylbs. Definition of a Hack.— A Hack means a horse that has not at time of entry won a race of the value of 80 sovs, or races of the collective value of 200 sovs, and is not nominated in any open race at the meeting. No horse will be allowed to start whose fees are unpaid. Entries by telegram must be confirmed in writing at the earliest possible opportunity. No betting allowed on the course except through the medium of the Totalisator. 14 The Stewards reserve the right to alter the date or time for receiving nominations and acceptances as they may deem fit.
