Foxton Racing Club.
A meeting of the Committee of the Foxton Racing Club was held last evening in their rooms, when there were present—Messrs W. Barber, G. Gray, A. Laing, C. Robinson, 0. Robinson, C. Hunt, J. Overend, Dr Patterson elected a member bf the Club. It was decided to publish the programme for the coming meeting in the columns of the Manawatu Herald, “Standard,” “N. Z. Times,” and “ Press.” It was decided that all insurance of buildings on the racecourse be made in the Standard Insurance Coy. Messrs Arnott and Sons were granted a progress payment of £l5O on their contract. J. P. Young was recommended for a jockey’s license. Other routine business was transacted, and the meeting closed.
