Foxton Cricket Association.
At a meeting of the Foxton Cricket Association, held at Mr Mark Perroau's last evening, there were present— Messrs G. Stiles (chairman), W. Mainwaring, Jj. Reads, Fred Shadbolt, J. Bowe, and the secretary (L. Purrie). The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. Mr R. Moore wrote accepting the position of hon. auditor.
After some discussion, re cocoanut matting, it was decided to leave the matter to Mr Stiles and the secretary to ascertain price for same and to procure. It was decided to play three rounds for the championship, the fixtures drawn being: — Ist BOUND. Nov. 25 (Saturday).—Moutoa v. Foxcon, at Victoria Park. Nov. 29 (Wednesday).—The postponed match, Debaters v. Foxton, 2nd bound. Dec. 13 (Wednesday).—Debaters v. Moutoa, at Moutoa. Deo. 20 (Wednesday),—Foxton v. Debaters, at Foxton. Doc. 23. (Saturday) —Foxton v. Moutoa. at Foxton 3rd bound.
Jan. 10 (Wednesday).—Debaters v. Moutoa, at Foxton. Jan. 17 (Wednesday).—Foxton v. Debaters, at Foxton. Jan. 27 (Saturday).—Moutoa v. Foxton, at Foxton. The above fixtures were agreed to unanimously. j Any postponed matches are to be plaved at end of fixtures. Votes of thanks to the ohair, and to Mr Perreau for the use of bis rooms concluded the meeting.
