Weights for Second Day’s Races will be declared on Monday, January 22nd, 1906, at about 8 p.m. Acceptances close same evening at 9.30. Rules and Regulations. Penalties,— Flat Races—The winner of any flat race after the declaration of weights to carry a penalty of lolbs, and of every additional race a further penalty of ylbs. Horses handicapped at Bst lolb or over to carry half the above penalties. Hurdle Races —The wipner of any hurdle race after the declaration of weights to carry a penalty of xoibs in the hurdle race, and ot every additional race a farther penalty of ylbs. * ( Definition of a Hack.— A Hack means a horse that has not at' : time of entry won a race of the value of 80 sovs, or races of the collective value of 200 sovs, and is not nominated in any open race at the meeting. No horse will be allowed to start whose fees are unpaid. Entries by telegram must be confirmed in Writing at the earliest possible opportunity. No betting allowed on the coarse except through the medium of the Totalisator. The Stewards reserve the right to alter the date or time for receiving nominations and acceptances as they may deem fit.
