Lord Salisbury was champion horse of New Zealand for many years, both as a sir" and in the show ring, never beine beaten in Scotland or New Zealand. Richmond’s dam, Australian Maggie, was shown thirteen times on Australia" show grounds and 'never was beaten, and her dam, Glasgow Maggie, wa~ sold at McCullockVsale in Melbourne for 840 guineas.
