A Foolish Shot.
Eotokta, Got. 38. William Campbell, proprietor of th e Edinburgh Boardinghouse, gave Mm* self up to the police at 7 o’clookAo-nigo* stating that he shots man n*me« Hislop. Hislop had gone to Campbell* house about 7 o'clock, and on Campbell seeing him there ordered him ftWftjV Hislop did. not immediately - ptor. Campbell procured a pea rifle and, «wd he would give him the contents. He forthwith fired, the ballet entering the forehead and owning out of the top of the head. Hislop, got to the footpath where he was found by the police insensible. He was removed to the ~S*m* torium and is being attended to by Dr Wolhmann. Campbell is in charge of the police.
