Scotch Lassie took the following prizes First as a yearling, a Tapanui; first at Tapanui as a two. year*old; first and champion at Tapanui as a three-vear old; first a* eae of a pair the same year; and first at Taieri at three years. Pearl hataken numerous prizes, and has bred five prize winners, including the cham pion of Otago, Herd Lassie. Lord Lyou holds ain unbeaten record, and bred this year’s champion mare in Australia, Flower of Balmoral, also Prince, who in his turn sired the champion horse of Australia.
