Val Vousden.
Great interest displayed in the district, by the fact that an artist of such ability as possessed by Mr Val Vousden, the eminent Irish Society Entertainer) to be heard in this town, should fill the hall to its utmost Capacity dh Tuesday evening next. The programme to be presented is one of the most attractive that has ever been here. His ventroloquial items, character impersonations, and quick changes of both voices and dress, are of a most marvellous character* He ranks as equal to the great monologue entertainer—Fred. McCabe —and Mr Vousden has given this same entertainment entitled “Two Hours df Hearty Laughter” before HiS Majesty King Edward at the invitation of the American Consul in London, and has the honor of receiving His Majesty congratulations. It is safe to say that Val Vousden has no rival in the class of subjects which he has taken in hand, and our readers should not miss the opportunity of hearing this distinguished visitor. His originality, humor and clever witticism, appeal to all who can enjoy a hearty laugh, and have secured for him the appellation of “ King of Laughter.” His clever imitations of birds, animal, and musical instruments, in fact anything in nature that can produce a sound, are truly wonderful, whilst his ventroloquial items have never been surpassed. The same entertainment as given here has been produced by Val Vousden in all cities through the World.
