Nominations, accompanied by as on each event, close with the Secretary, Foxton, and Mr R. W. Armit, 51 Lambton Quay, Wellington, on Oct. 23rd, at 10 p.m., for Events 1,4, 5,7, 8, g, 10, 11, 12,13 and 14. Handicaps will appear on or about October 28th. Acceptances close on Ground. RULES AND REGULATIONS Cycling Events run under League of j New Zealand Wheelmen's Rules., Other Events run under Feilding Rules. No nomination will be accepted on any account without proper entrance feps, and a statement of all public performances for past two years (matches included); if not any, the last five performances to be given. Three Competitors to start or no Ist prize; four, or no 2nd; five, or no 3rd. AH Competitors must be on their I marks at the appointed time for each Event, and anyone not answering the starter's call may be disqualified. The Committee may require any Competitor to prove his identity further than by declaration should they think fit to do so, and will reserve the right to strike out any event should there not be sufficient entries to satisfy them. Competitors leaving their mark before the pistol is fired will be put back one yard for each offence, and anyone not going back when required may be disqualified. Snap-cap no start. Any Competitor found jostling will be immediately disqualified. All Protests must be made within 15 minutes of race finishing, accompanied with a deposit of 10s, which will be forfeited should the Protest be considered frivolous, and all Protests against Competitors entering under false or incorrect performances shall be decided at 8 o’clock in the evening,* Greater if thelCommittee deem necesand allJPrize Moseyiheld over.
