Dalgety & Co., Limited, Wellington, have received the following cablegrams from their London Office, dated 13th inst.— New Zealand Frozen Meat.—Canterbury mutton—Crossbred wethers and maiden ernes, f.a.q., 4d per lb t light weights, North Island mutton, 3§d; prime Canterbury lamb, 32-4olbs, 4fd per lb; North Island lamb, per lb. Heavy weights, North Island lamb, 4d to 4sd per lb. The tone ot the market is very depressed. Frozen beef—Prices are firmer. Ox hinds, iSo-zzolbs, f.a.q., 3i|d to per lb; Ox fores, 2|d to 2|d per lb. Butter.—Market firm. Copenhagen official quotation unchanged. We expect no immediate change in prices. The total imports of butter into the United Kingdom for the week ending 7th instant was yj.ooocwt, as compared with 83,000 cwt for the corresponding period last year. More demand for unsalted than salted.
