Foxton Lawn Tennis Club.

It was decided to make Wednesday, Oct. 31th, the opening day, on which •occasion the President will present the prizes won In the Tournament. The following officers and committees were elected for the ensuing year:— Patron, Mr P. W. Prankland; President, Mr B.G. Gower; Vice-Presidents, Mr J, Symons, Mr Simpson and Mr H, Austin; Hon, Secretary, Mr Marshall; Hoa. Treasurer, Mr Hennessy; Committee, Misses Wanklyn, Oollins, E, Symons, and L. Austin, Messrs Marshall, Clsmett, Mr Fraser, and Rev. Mr Wilson.

Misses McDonough, E. Wanklyn, Levett, Grand, and Messrs Murray and Gardiner were elected members. votes of thanks Were carried for the Hon. Secretary’s work, and for Mr Clsmetl’a kind assistance, the meeting adjourned.
