The first cricket match of the season was played last Wednesday on the Athletic Park between the Debating Society's C.C. and the Moutoa C.C., resulting in a win for the former by an innings and one run. Mr J. Dunn, of i the Debaters, showed excellent form with the ball, taking the first six wickets m the second innings for four runs. Messrs Bert. Shadbolt and E.
