Mr London definitely announces his candidature for Parliament as an Independent Liberal. He will contest the Hutt seat. Mr G. M. Yerex, anether candidate, has announced that he will stand as a New Liberal. 1 Speaking at Castled iff on Friday evening, Mr R. M. Gateaby, a candidate for the Wanganui seat, in dealing with b<s attitude towards the present Governmeut, stated that he was a Government supporter and would vote with the Government on aii noconfidence motions. At the same time he did not agree with all of their policy, and be disagreed with them on the lend question. He was a firm believer >» the leasehold. JLI
