Manawatu Herald TUESDAY, AUGUST 29, 1905. SCHOOL WORK EXHIBITION.
The Wanganui Education Board is sending a circular to all teachers and committees in the district in connection with the proposed exhibition of school work to be held at Wanganui towards the end of the year. It is intended to include in this exhibition writing, drawing, and work done in connection with classes under the Manual and Technical Act. The object is to bring together the best work done in the district, and by this means to give to all an opportunity of seeing what is done. As the exhibition will be held daring the summer holidays, In all probability, it is suggested that, to give as many children as possible a chance of attending, the annual school excursions should be fixed to take place during the time the exhibits are on view. Arrangements will be made, if possible, for the billeting of children more than a day's journey from Wanganui. Teachers and committees are desired to assist the movement, and if they give their hearty cooperation it is believed a great deal < f good will accrue to the children by bringing under their notice the workdone in other schools.
