TENDERS FOR NEW BUILDING TO BE INVITED.

Wanganui, this day

At the Wanganui Education Board meeting last evening, plans of a building to replace the Foxton school were laid before the board and on Mr. Pirani’s motion, seconded by Mr. Fraser, it was decided to invite tenders for the work. It was also decided to ask the Minister for Education to receive a deputation from the board, from the residents of Eoxton, and the member for the district in reference to the matter.
