Mr George Bailey, and old resident of Otaki, is dead, aged 64. Mr Owen C. Pleasants is announced as a candidate for the Orona seat in the Liberal interest. Sir William and Lady Russell returned to Wellington on Tuesday from a trip to Kugland. King Edward is visiting Marienbad, and will meet Emperor Francis Joseph of Austria during his stay at the health resort.
