It is state! for instance that “ i cwt, of butter, valued at /"s,” ' v "s sent ‘‘to Hong Kong,” and later that a similar nuantity, the same value, was shipped “to China.” Whether the two amounts are really one is not explained, but anyway, even if twowhole hundred-wn’ghts vent the four hundred odd mil lion children of the almond-eyed Emperor must look upon blew Zealand butter with as much deference as their Western brethren do just-now upon radium.
